Alex Mase is a singer-songwriter based in California’s Central Valley. When he’s not working the front desk at a Marriott just off Highway 99, he spends late nights writing and recording stripped-down acoustic songs influenced by artists like Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, and Iron & Wine.
Drawing from quiet hotel lobbies, long valley drives, and the in-between moments of everyday life, Alex’s music leans into intimate melodies and reflective lyrics. His recordings are simple and honest—often tracked late at night with little more than a guitar, a microphone, and whatever ideas happen to arrive after a long shift.
